Free range Pork
We feed our pigs on a SOYA-FREE diet. They are fed on locally grown beans, locally grown potatoes, wheat and barley and there is no soya in their rations.
This is real pork!. Rich, succulent and completely delicious. A world away from pale, insipid supermarket pork.
Tamworth pigs are a domesticated breed of pigs, but are very close genetically to wild boar. Because of these genetics, they are a woodland animal, and can fend for themselves by rooting in woods. They are completely free range and live outside for their whole lives. They lead a natural pig’s life in the outdoors grazing, foraging, rooting for worms and grubs and wallowing in mud baths. Tamworth pork is naturally lean (compared to that of other rare breeds of pigs) and is fine grained, and is considered to be the pork par excellence for bacon.
